G8 Education Limited (ASX:GEM) is a leading provider of quality care and education facilities across Australia and Singapore through a range of well-respected and recognised brands.  They were seeking to create a large state-of-the-art childcare facility in the bustling Chatswood commercial precinct.

The project included alterations to an existing industrial building which meant the front façade was to be maintained and a new structure to be built on the three remaining boundaries. This included the excavation to create a new ground floor slab, introduction of a mezzanine level, a lift shaft and fire stairs and the accommodation of a roof top play area over the existing structure.

The result was a brand new facility suitable for 162 children over five storeys including rooftop.
