We are proud to announce the completion and handover of the newly developed early childcare centre located close to the heart of Chatswood. The state-of-the-art, five storey early education centre can facilitate for a generous 162 children with a significant amount of space both internally and externally.
Cozzcorp have successfully delivered the construction of the intricate yet exciting build. The construction of the facility included the bracing, back-propping, anchoring and part-demolition of an existing 3 storey building with the transformation to a new 5 level development. Construction included the part demolition of the existing structure, while structurally maintaining the existing façade and front portion of the existing industrial building. The challenging, yet rewarding build, in the end proved to be a great achievement for our construction team and REVELOP, our client on the project.
The education centre comprises of 2 levels of secured above ground car parking shared with staff areas, sign-in rooms, kitchen facilities and offices. Furthermore, 3 levels of childcare facilities comprising of 13 play area are settled over a substantial 550 square meters with an additional 1100 square meters provided for outdoor play areas.
The inclusion of cubby houses, rainbow running tracks, tunnel mounds and dry creek beds have all been specifically designed and installed in accordance with the Kidsafe Requirements. While all internal play rooms have been designed and construction to an exceptional level of detail.
